Our Policies
All pets must be up to date on their vaccines. We generally do not accept pets with fleas and ticks, but if the problem occurs we will gladly perform a flea funeral at your expense. Please advise us if your pet has any of these problems so we can contain the problem immediately. All pets have to be flea and tick free before they are allowed to socialize with other pets.
We do require that all appointments be made in advance. Very rarely do we except appointments made the same day. Please be courteous to our staff and call a day or two in advance so that we may prepare for you pets arrival accordingly. If you are running late for your appointment please call and let us know. If you cannot make it in, please contact us and we will set up another appointment for you.
In case we have a pet that is difficult to groom for any reason, we will suggest the easiest style that the groomer can do and usually the most comfortable for your pet. We will do the best groom we can based on your pets behavior and coat condition. Diamond Nails to Tails, Inc. reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, including any animal known to be aggressive. We do not accept severely aggressive animals for the safety of our staff and other pet clients.
Anal gland expression for dogs over 25lbs is not a service offered at our pet spa. The anal glands are located internally within a dog's anatomy. Expression of the anal glands, if necessary, should be done at your veterinarian's office to insure no injury to your pet.
Dematting several mats on your pet is not something this shop performs. It is inhumane and very painful to have this service done. At this point the groomer will make a decision to have a comfort groom done, which is usually a short haircut. Some pets are demattable depending on how many mats there are, and how close to the skin they lay. Your groomer will determine this for you upon arrival.
