Shop Operations:
- Once your pet is checked in, we take them for a walk outside our shop to help calm them, and so they may relieve themselves. We do so even if you have walked your pet prior to checking in, because it helps us bond better with your pet.
- Most pets are prepped before their bath. This includes brushing or pre-shaving/clipping your pet.
- Your pet is then ready for their bath!
- Our shampoos are hypo-allergenic, and safe to use on all skin types, and will not wash off Advantix or Frontline.
- We also offer skin baths of Euka and Tea Tree, or Fungus shampoo for pets with irritated skin due to dandruff, dryness, or even hot spots.
- If your pet has fleas or ticks we use our Euka and Tea Tree shampoo, which has proven to kill the fleas and ticks while soothing your dog’s skin at the same time. We do not use harsh flea and tick shampoos, because we find them unnecessary and the Euka and Tea Tree bath is not irritating and does the job well.
- During the bathing process your pets’ ears will be cleaned and excess hair removed, and checked for infections or ear mites. If there are any ear problems you are notified when you pick up your pet.
- Once your pet has been thoroughly cleaned, they are toweled off and ready to dry!
- We do NOT cage dry. It is very dangerous to cage dry a pet, and our work comes out best with hand drying.
- Your pet is now drying with a hand force dryer to get excess water off, and then fluff dried with a stand up dryer and a slicker brush by the bather.
- Once the bathing process is done, your pet is brought into the next room to get groomed.
- Your pet may have to wait for the groomer, but because we don’t cage pets unless they hike or fight other dogs, they may enjoy themselves with other playmates. There is always water available to them in case they get thirsty.
- Your pet is walked again before the grooming process.
- Once the groomer has your pet on the table, the final process of the groom takes place. We generally call you ahead of time to let you know an approximate pick up time of when your dog will be finished. Then the groomer goes to work on making your pet look divine.
- All you have to do now is come pick up your clean, excited canine or feline!

We also offer:
- Any pet style and cut you want, as long as the pet isn’t matted and doesn’t have severe behavioral problems. We can even do Mohawks! (see “Lucky” in our photo gallery)
- Tooth brushing for an extra charge of $6.
- We can do express grooming when requested, and we can usually have your pet ready at a specific time requested by you if it is in a reasonable time frame according to the dogs size.
Other things to keep in mind:
- We do NOT express anal glands on pets over 25lbs. We believe it should be professionally done by a veterinarian internally. It is also a service requested by you, not something that will be done automatically. There will be an extra $3 charge for expressing anal glands, if anything is extracted.
- We prefer if cats are brought in a carrier, where they will stay up front with the receptionist and not be bothered by dogs. If that isn't possible, we do have cages.
- We will work with you on anything you need; from cuts and styles to drop off and pick up times.
- We accept Visa, MaserCard and Discover cards.
